In order to cope with our rapid growth of business. We have a plan to build a 10,000MTS cold storage and to invest 30 refrigerated trucks. The Demand of cold storage is escalating in Malaysia as many people prefer to use frozen foods now. The Investment of cold storage and logictic are not only for the use of our seafood business. but also mainly to support local food industries. We notice that a lot of food industries are hardly to find cold storage to keep their frozen food as the existing cold storage capasity in Penang is very limited.
We will invest in advance fully automated warehouse system (ASRS) to increase productivity, warehousing efficiency and facilitate rapid order fullfilment with increased accuracy and real-time inventory ovements. Moreover, our logictic team will help our customers move products from point to point in time, exactly the way they want it.
A processing area for halal food is also included in our plan. Our plan to process fish fillet, fish steak, tempura, fish fillet, breaded shrimp and etc to supply local and export markets. All the products will be practiced under HACCP, GMP and Halal strict requirements and controls.
We estimated 300 employments will be created for office admin, seafood processing workers, warehouse keepers and logictic drivers. A total RM120 millions annual sales revenue will be reached upon completion of the facilities.
